Trace Elements
Seawater contains approximately 72 elements, many of which have concentrations of less than 1 ppm. However, these elements have a significant impact on aquatic life. They play crucial roles, both directly and indirectly, in the production of many enzymes involved in metabolic processes.

Iron: Maintains the redox state of water, facilitates electron transfer within cells, aids in oxygen transport, and neutralizes excess oxygen.
Manganese: Transfers hydrogen and electrons into cells, aids in the synthesis and digestion of proteins, and is involved in the production of RNA and DNA.
Cobalt: Essential for the synthesis of vitamin B12 within cells and is a vital element for the symbiotic algae, Zooxanthellae.
Zinc: Involved in the hydrolysis of bicarbonate, the hydrolysis and digestion of proteins, and the production of essential enzymes for carbohydrate synthesis; it also neutralizes excess oxygen and improves reproductive performance.
Boron: Stabilizes and strengthens cell membranes, enhances metabolic performance, and contributes to the production of red pigments.
Selenium: A powerful antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals.
Copper: Facilitates the transfer of oxygen and electrons into cells and enhances the performance of Zooxanthellae algae.
Chromium: Produces glucose for cell nourishment and synthesizes insulin for optimal glucose utilization; it also contributes to the production of yellow pigments.
Fluoride: Strengthens coral skeletons and neutralizes heavy metals.
Iodine: Improves performance in photosynthesis and neutralizes excess reactive oxygen in Zooxanthella algae, enhancing pigment production in corals.
Bromide: Aids in pigment production and enhances color in corals; it helps eliminate toxic bromofrom produced in algae.
Molybdenum: Facilitates electron transfer and acts as a stabilizing and preserving agent for coral tissue in the Calyx skeleton.
This product is formulated from USP and ACS grade materials, stimulating high growth and color development in corals and soft-bodied organisms. It features high absorption due to its unique molecular form and proprietary formulation, containing all essential elements required by corals, soft-bodied organisms, and other invertebrates. It is essential for SPS and LPS aquariums as well as propagation tanks and has a completely standardized concentration.
Usage Instructions: Shake the bottle well before use. Weekly, add 5 cc of the rare elements liquid supplement for every 50 gallons (190 liters) to the tank. Additionally, after using activated carbon and changing the water, add 5 cc of the Deep Ocean Trace Elements liquid supplement for every 50 gallons (190 liters) to the tank.
Ingredients: Molybdenum, cobalt, barium, boron, nickel, vanadium, copper, strontium, fluoride, bromide, iron, manganese, iodine, zinc, selenium, aluminum, lithium, carbonate, and bicarbonate.
