Nitrate & Phosphate Remover
Carbon can be used as a completely biological method with the application of advanced compounds, allowing aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, which are responsible for reducing nitrates and phosphates, to thrive and serve as a great food source for these bacteria. These bacteria can consume both nitrogen and phosphorus in a ratio of 16:1 and can be collected at the end using a skimmer or a filter, thus providing the best food source for corals.
Nitrate is the final product of the nitrogen cycle and results from the conversion of ammonia into nitrite and nitrate. At low levels (10 PPM), it is less toxic to ammonia and nitrite. Over time, with increasing levels, nitrate can pose a toxic threat to the system, potentially leading to the death of fish, increased growth of unwanted microorganisms, and also affecting the color and growth rate of corals. The second product in this cycle, phosphate, is a stable form of phosphorus that can be found in both organic and mineral forms within the aquarium system. Phosphates can become toxic if they drop below 1 PPM, but they can promote unwanted microscopic growths and increase the risk of algae blooms. Additionally, the presence of calcium ions in the water can affect the pH of the tank, leading to calcium depletion from corals; in this way, the growth of calcium-rich corals can be hindered.
The NPR product can be applied in a fully biological way with the utilization of advanced compounds, allowing aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, which are responsible for reducing nitrates and phosphates, to thrive. These bacteria can consume both nitrates and phosphates in a ratio of 16:1 and can be collected at the end using a skimmer or a filter, thus providing the best food source for corals.
To utilize the above product, nitrates and phosphates should be kept near zero, creating a ULNS (Ultra Low Nutrient System). In this system, corals exhibit more vibrant colors and longer growth due to the reduction of nitrates and phosphates, facilitated by the NPR product. Unwanted microscopic growths like Bryopsis Algae and others can be eliminated.

Usage Instructions:
Shake well.
For every 190 liters of tank water, use 5 cc of the product daily during the initial setup phase.
It is recommended to use a good quality and powerful skimmer.
During the reduction of nitrates and phosphates, do not allow phosphates to drop to zero. If phosphates reach zero, consider using bio-phosphate products from DeepOcean.
